Tele Consultation/ Online Consultation/ Consultation on Video Call

Dr. Rahul Chandhok, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, with experience of managing psychiatric patients of more than 20 years after his post graduation in MD Psychiatry, is available for consultation by video call for old and new psychiatric cases. Consultation on video call is also called Tele Consultation or Online Consultation.

Consultation is provided at the request of patient or their family members at a mutually agreed time after payment of consultation fee. Telemedicine is practiced as per the Telemedicine Guidelines published by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, 2020.

Disclaimer

A video or telemedicine consult can never be compared to a normal in-opd consult where the doctor is able to physically examine the patient.
You are advised to come to the OPD for consults whenever you are in a position for the same.
In case your symptoms/condition does not improve or worsen, then immediately reach the nearest hospital.
By accepting telemedicine consultation, you agree and accept that the tele-consultants/doctors and all personnel directly or indirectly involved with any part of the Telemedicine set up shall not be held responsible in the unlikely event of an error in diagnosis or management due to the occurrence of sub optimal technical conditions. While every attempt will be made to ensure ideal conditions, unforeseen situations may occur.
MedHope Clinic and/or its doctors shall not be responsible for complete accuracy of telemedicine consultation, limited in its scope as it is, with no physical examination of the patient being possible. While every attempt will be made to ensure comprehensiveness of the consultation, unforeseen situations may arise. Your accepting telemedicine consultation will be taken as your consent for a telemedicine consult with its ingrained limitations.
Since psychological testing is not possible via video call, no certificates of any kind would be issued in Teleconsult cases.

Procedure – How to consult?

To consult by video call, a patient or their family member has to send a message to 9818120579 via Whatsapp – saying – “I/We request Dr. Rahul Chandhok for a consultation by video call.”
This request would imply your consent for Teleconsultation with the doctor after reading the Disclaimer and FAQ.
Please mention Name, Age, Sex and Location of patient while requesting for consult. Also mention New case or Old case.
You would recieve a reply requesting for mentioning the patient’s problems in brief in case of new case and requesting for latest prescription in case of old case.
After this you would be sent details for making payment. After making payment, please send sceenshot of fee payment via whatsapp.
Once your payment is confirmed, then you would be informed about time of consult.
After the consult an advice or prescreption would be given.

Charges – Rs. 1200/- per consult. Charges have to be paid in advance, before beginning of consultation. Payment Link via PayTM or Bank Account transfer would be shared once the request for consultation is accepted.

Will Teleconsultation with Dr. Rahul Chandhok solve my medical issue? Dr. Rahul Chandhok will give you the required medical opinion after diagnosis of your health issue. This will help you identify next steps which may include prescription or diagnostics tests or an advise.
Will I get a valid prescription? Yes. You will either get a valid prescription or suggestion for diagnostics tests or an advice from the doctor.
What if I had to upload few reports asked by the doctor? Reports requested would be reviewed by the doctor – free of charge.
If I don’t understand the dosage or medicine name , can I consult the doctor again? You are entitled for a free clarification with your doctor.
What if I don’t get any response from the doctor? You are assured to get a response from your doctor. In the unlikely case where you don’t get a response, we will refund the money, no questions asked!
Do I get a refund in case of no consultation? If you don’t get a response from the doctor , you are entitled for a 100% refund. Just drop a message to 9818120579 and your refund will be processed.
